00 buckshot uses large diameter shot, a 12 gauge shell holds nine .38 caliber lead balls, which at longer ranges produces a fair approximation of the area fire effects of a burst of submachine gun fire, while at closer ranges it produces devastating wounds. A slug is basically a large bullet stabilized by rifling or fins.

The key here is that the gauge . returns to 0. inbetween slugs going thru the sensor, and. it gradually climbs again. If a machine comes off early and assuming the whisker valve is the problem, the gauge climbs to 5 and 7 and 10 psi and when a slug hits the bell, needle goes to 0 . but then. instantly back . up . to where it was, let’s say 12 psi

Note that if a diver’s pressure gauge were placed in a container and the container were partially evacuated, the gauge pressure would read negative even though the absolute pressure is still positive. e.g. A gauge pressure of -0.3 atm means that absolute pressure remaining is +0.7 atm. i.e., pabs (0.7 atm) = pgauge (-0.3 atm) + patm (1 atm)
