It was a video of Nick covering a Los Shakers* song that introduced me to the psychology student’s You Tube channel which is filled with tons of great covers (lots of Beatles) and poppy originals, all recorded in his parents Southern California garage. There’s nothing more 70s then “Disco” - so “Stayin Alive” is very 70s.

Guitars have a wide range of sound that can elicit many different emotions. 60s and 70s rock such as The Eagles have a really mellow sound like in “Hotel California” or “Desperado”. The sound is slower and has a more reflective aura. When you listen to these songs, it makes you want to just sit, think, and reflect.
