      It seems to me the Roman Catholic Church in the teaching of their doctrine would rather believe in creation but always has a "loophole" just in case their view of evolution is proven correct. This is totally human reasoning thus having their doctrine swing both ways. They have no true conviction concerning what the Bible; the Word of God teaches.
