      Thought for the Week. On Palm Sunday it is all too easy to be hard on the people of Jerusalem, who clearly wanted a different type of Messiah. Many wanted a nationalist leader to throw off the yoke of Rome, the Pharisees a religious revival based on strict adherence to the law, the Sadducees and Temple authorities support for their form of worship with its animal sacrifice.
