Pug Myelopathy - PUG DOG CLUB OF AMERICA
Some dogs have neurological problems with their eyes. Nerve damage seems to be progressive with this condition though some dogs have little or no visible damage and others have severe damage. The surgery seems to halt the progression of such damage but will not reverse existing damage. Some dogs develop a stiffness in the neck, back and/or limbs.

The neurologist found unexplained unbalanced muscle weakness in the legs. My problem was not just my arm. He also did a nerve conduction velocity test. He poked my left hand with a needle attached to a gauge which showed a needle jumping in response to muscles twitching in my palm. He ordered X-rays of my neck, a CT myelogram and an MRI.

I experienced a shadow person last night. At about 3:30am, my dog barks. Even though she’s a pit mix, she’s very accepting of people and animals that she doesn't feel threatened by. But this time, she leaps off the bed almost instantly, spreading her front legs while her back legs were planted firmly. I’ve never seen her so ready to attack.
