      Below is a map of the lower federal court system. The large, black numbers denote the “circuits” of the U.S. Courts of Appeal. Within each circuit is a set of district courts. Roseville is in the Minnesota District, which is in the 8th Circuit. The Court of Appeal of the 8th Circuit is located in St. Louis, MO.

      They consist of three levels: Federal District Courts, US Courts of Appeal, and the US Supreme Court. There are 94 District Courts, 12 US Courts of Appeal, and one US Supreme Court. The lower courts have regional jurisdiction as shown in the map below. As stated earlier, we live in the Northern District of Georgia under the 11th US Circuit.
