      In 1922, they made 629 dresses, 566 sheets, 1,080 towels, 141 aprons, 124 bloomers, and various other articles of clothing. Hayward’s girls were not the only Indian students that provided clothing for their boarding school. Girls at Flandreau sewed their own dresses and uniforms as well.
