Deprotection of ceftobiprole . medocaril. To a 1.5 mL Eppendorf tube (with a small hole on the cap to allow CO2 release), 10.2 mg of ceftobiprole medocaril sodium from Zevtera and 1020 µL of 1x PBS buffer (pH 7.4) were added. The solution (pH 6.5) was adjust to pH 7.5 with 20 µL of 0.1 M NaOH.
