The water cycle is the repeated moving of water through the environment in many forms. There are four steps to the water cycle: Evaporation- changing liquid water to water vapor, when heated by the sun. Condensation- changing water vapor to liquid water droplets when temperatures cool forming clouds or morning dew. Precipitation- water that falls from clouds as rain, snow, sleet (frozen raindrops) or hail.
