How many credits do you need to be a high school sophomore?
Fewer than 30 credits is a Freshman, Sophomore is 30 to 59 credits. Junior is 60 to 89 credits and Senior is 90+ credits. This is credits completed, and it doesn't matter if you are on semester or quarter but it will vary by school based on the credits they will accept in transfer.
