The vaginal mucosa was undermined for at least 2 cm and approximated to the perineal skin by interrupted 2-0 Vicryl sutures. The anterior vulva lesion was then excised with a margin of approximately 0.5 cm. The lesion itself was approximately 2 cm in diameter. Bleeding points were cauterized. Wounds closed with interrupted 3-0 Vicryl.
