The journal currently has an impact factor of 2.064 (see table). The impact factor of the journal increased considerably and now it is one of the highest in the Dental Journal Rank. It is ranked as number 3 both in listings of all biomaterials journals and of all dental journals. Consequently, submissions to the journal have risen.
