In FY17, only 217 Veterans were attending the PTSD groups at least one time per month (i.e., 13+ group appointments in a year). During the same time (FY17), 6,742 Veterans at West Los Angeles (WLA) had a diagnosis of PTSD. This demonstrates a large unmet need. Our goal now is to be able to increase access and get more Veterans access to treatment.
