After teaching 15 weeks of language arts last year, I realized that there were a lot of gaps in the ELA standards. Meaning that students still need to “catch up” on standards from previous grades. So not only will we work on 5th grade standards this year, but we will also visit some ELA standards from 1st through 4th grades as well.
