Soldiers who do not meet the ABCP body fat standard at the 90-day point are considered ABCP failures. Commanders will initiate separation action, bar to reenlistment, or transfer to the IRR per AR 600-9 paragraph 3–12d for all Soldiers who fail to meet the body fat standard at the 90-day point.

If health care personnel are unable to determine a medical reason for a lack of weight loss and if you are not in compliance with the body fat standards of AR 600-9, paragraph 3.1.c. and still exceed the screening table weight (table 3–1), the commander or supervisor will inform you that action may be taken to separate you from the Army.
