Thereafter, the State filed a motion for relief from judgment. After a hearing, the trial court denied the motion. On review, a divided panel of the Court Appeals affirmed the trial court’s judgment. See State v. Willits, 733 N.E.2d 496 (Ind. Ct. App. 2000). Having previously granted transfer, we now reverse the trial court. Discussion
