Cabinet members are responsible for providing results for the student community, while acting as leaders and mentors. Is responsible for appointing, assembling and leading a cabinet to perform tasks that include but are not limited to the following: Listening to and acting upon the concerns of the student body Improving the academic and student life at Fairfield University Marketing FUSAs work and accomplishments to the University Community Establishing a sense of community between FUSA members Training FUSA members to fully understand and fulfill their roles and responsibilities Managing the FUSA Budget Coordinating events that meet the interests of the student body Responsible for enforcing the FUSA Constitution and any legislation passed by the FUSA Senate. Voting on whether to remove the member. A member can only be removed after a majority vote of the Judiciary Council. Coordinate all FUSA wide elections which includes: Setting the date of the election. Establishing and enforcing the election code. Adjudicating all election disputes. Coordinating all Election Publicity. Coordinating all election related programming such as meet the candidates night and debates. Managing Election Day which includes working the polls, counting the votes and announcing the results. Act as a peer-advocate board to support students through the disciplinary process. This can include meeting with a student following their referral to the deans office and acting an advisor to a student during their meeting with a disciplinary body.
