The task was developed at a workshop on cases at the Institute for Mathematics and Education in February 2008 (http://ime.math.arizona.edu). NCAA Division I Womens Basketball Team Rankings Case Activity 64 sportswriters and coaches were asked to identify the top five NCAA Division I womens basketball teams in the country for a pre-season poll.
