THE ITU SHOULD BE BASED ON THE READING RAINBOW FORMAT IN WHICH A CORE LITERATURE BOOK AND EXTENDING LITERATURE ARE RELATED TO A THEME THAT CONNECTS SEVERAL AREAS OF THE CURRICULULM. Working in small groups, you will develop a unit for a specific grade level. You will build on your theme in both language arts and social studies methods courses. The final presentation of your unit will take place on the last day of class. REQUIREMENTS: Getting Started Choose a theme Think of the grade level standards and curriculum Think about some overarching concepts and questions the standards/curriculum address.
