On June 1, 2015, the USCG began uploading their digitized STRs into the Department of Defenses (DoDs) Healthcare Artifacts and Image Management Solution (HAIMS). The Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) automatically generates a USCG STRs request for members with release dates of September 1, 2014, or later.
