Task – Students will work with a partner to develop a Time Capsule in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Students will examine the political, economic, social, and cultural issues of the 1920s, analyzing the cause of these issues as well as the effect of these issues on our nation. Specifically, students will determine what elements of the 1920s caused the Great Depression of the 1930s. Requirements – The PowerPoint must include at least 30 slides (but no more than 40) and must cover the topics, concepts and issues found below. The PowerPoint must include images and bullet points of information, and each slide should have no more than five lines of text and a total of 30 words. Your PowerPoint may also include political cartoons, newspaper clippings, videos, and music. At the bottom of every slide a web address of the site where information or images are obtained must be included.
