Can the Certified Public Accountant who prepares the required financial statement be an in-house CPA? A). No. Q.) Can the financial statement of a parent company of the licensed entity be used to renew the license? A.) Yes, the parent companys financials may be used if the statement identifies that the subsidiarys financial information is included in the statement. Since the financial statement will be in the parent companies name, please include the license number or ID number on the information that is submitted. Q.) What are the net worth and working capital requirements for renewals? A.) The net worth and working capital requirement are based on the classification that is listed on the license.
