We take a step further -after the 11-14 Activity Pack- and now participants will practice delivering the 7-10 Activity Pack in bigger groups of 12-20 participants which is closer to a real guide/scout group. This way participants can deliver activities and co-ordinate a big group and built on their facilitation skills and confidence. A facilitator will be responsible for each group which will meet in a separate space. The facilitators is there to support participants, to explain the activity if there is need, to provide feedback at the end and to coordinate the flow. The facilitator makes sure that participants use the right approach and follow the instructions from the Activity Packs. Participants are encouraged to use the support prompts (blue print) from the Activity Packs in order to explain to the group what they need to do and to facilitate the discussions among them. Remember participants in Free Being Me are encouraged to speak up and participate actively. This means that we need to make sure everyone has the space and opportunity to do so at their own pace. TimeContentMethod/ ProcessFacilitatorMaterials30 minsParticipants prepare activities and prepare materials Participants will be split into groups of 12-20 people and given an activity to prepare in pairs. They have 30 min to prepare activity, practice and gather the material they will need. Each group will then gather in a separate space to deliver the activities. A facilitator will be responsible for each group flipchart stand (optional), flip chart paper, markers, post its, pens, A4 paper, Activity Packs one per participant. They remain themselves and engage freely. Participants in each group deliver their allocated activity to the rest of the group. After each activity group trainers will guide feedback. Some questions for feedback: What do you think was the learning objective for this activity? How did you feel as leaders during that activity? How did you feel as participants during that activity? What did the leaders do well? What could the leaders have improved?
