The sequence of studies in general education will be well planned and broad enough to permit teacher candidates to develop the knowledge and skills essential to experiencing success, satisfaction, and intellectual growth in teaching and in life. The general education core curriculum will comprise approximately 50% of the 120 semester hours minimum course work required to complete the baccalaureate degree.
