To determine a Grade Point Average (GPA), we must be able to reference the following information about each course attempted:

1. Grade Symbol (i.e., A-, B, C+, WU) 2. Grade Symbol Value (i.e., A=4, B=3, C+=2.3) 3. Unit Value (i.e., 3 unit course, 1 unit course)

Refer to the chart below to find the Grade Symbol earned for each of your courses. Take a look at your Unofficial transcript to determine the Units for each of the courses. Match the Grade Symbol with the course Units in the chart to find the correct Grade Points.

Example: How many Grade Points has a student earned if they receive a B- in a 3 unit course?
