Education Add-On Party Package (continued)This package will only be offered on Saturday mornings and is designed for ages 3-10.During the hour with our Educator, party guests will play and learn with guided gallery activities and hands-on transportation games. Party guests will wrap up their visit with a themed craft. Please select from the following topics for your Education Add On program. (Please only select one)Each topic will be comprised of a variety of theme appropriate educational activities, games and a craft.TrainsPlanesCarsNote:If you have chosen the education package, you are responsible for reporting number of children and adults attending no later than 2 weeks before your party. We request that at least one adult stay with party participants during the education add on program.LOCATION AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN’S PARTIES:Navigation Station: Children’s tables and chairs are included.This inside room is heated and has air conditioning.LOCATION DETAILS AND SCHEDULE: The Navigation Station is available for birthday parties Monday through Saturday for 3 hours between the hours of 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Guests will be allowed 30 minutes for set up before the party start time. All parties must end by 4:00 and be cleaned up by 4:30pm.On Sundays, the Navigation Station is available from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. If you choose the Education Add On Package: the schedule will run as follows. Please be aware of the following timing when arriving, setting up and welcoming your guests, as the schedule will not be modified except to accommodate serious emergency situations. All reservations are tentative until a signed agreement with deposit is received. We will hold a tentative reservation for two weeks. If we do not receive your agreement and your non-refundable deposit by the date above, your event date will be removed from our calendar. We cannot guarantee the appearance of the museum or placement of exhibits for the time of your event. We will not remove banners, flags, or seasonal decorations for your event. ________All party attendees must check in at the front window and receive a wrist band. ________Children must be supervised by adults at all times and may not explore the museum or rail yard by themselves. All museum signs and directives must be obeyed. ________Tables and other objects may not be placed against the walls, exhibits, displays, or artifacts. Decorations may NOT be attached by any means to the walls, exhibits, displays, or artifacts. You may use push pins on the cork strips ________For the safety of the exhibits in the museum, open flames and candles are not permitted. ________If you should need to cancel or re-schedule your event for any reason, including inclement weather, contact the Museum immediately. Depending on availability, we will try to accommodate your re-scheduling request. If we cannot reschedule or you elect to cancel your reservation, you will receive a refund less the $60 non-refundable deposit.
