ENTRIES OPEN ON: October 13, 2020, 2020 at 8:00 am, at the Trial Secretaries address. All entries received before this date will be returned. Overnight or certified mail must be sent with the "No Signature Required" waiver signed. ENTRIES CLOSE ON: Oct 30, 2020 at 6:00pm, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, altered, or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. Envelopes/transactions containing entries for more than ten (10) dog maximum and/or entries received prior to the opening date shall be treated as an invalid entry and shall be returned to the sender.

Day-of-Event Entry is permitted if entry limits have not been achieved. Entry forms and fees should be given to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of the event. Day-of-Event entries will open at 5:00 pm.

This trial is open to all dogs TWELVE (12) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP), an AKC Canine Partners listing number or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds are eligible to participate

INPORTANT INFORMATION DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER: Dog of any breed who are at least 12 months of age that are registered with the AKC, recorded in the FSS program, dogs with PAL numbers or dogs enrolled in the Canine Partners program. Bitches in season may enter, but must wear pants. Dogs with disabilities may participate in the ATT test. However, if a dog has multiple disabilities (e.g. blind and deaf), such that it is unable to perform whole categories of the test (such as hearing auditory stimuli and seeing visual stimuli), the dog would not earn the ATT title.

TESTING TIME AND CHECK-IN TIME: Check in will begin at 5pm. Handlers MUST check-in the day they are scheduled to test. TEST ENTRY FEES: Entry fee is $25 per test. Day-of entries will be accepted starting 5pm November 6th, provided entry limits have not been met. Day of entry fee $30 per test.

Express mail entries must include the signature waiver allowing them to be left at the secretary's address. Direct inquiries to Monica Lindquist at doggonefunagilitytx@. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Trial Secretary will add a $35.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check.

Day-of entries will be run at the end of the sessions, after all pre- entries have been run. A dog may enter only once per test, and one test is defined as one event number.

Safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this test, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this test. Exhibitors should review all testing information found at akctemptest/ It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. CATC and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. CATC reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against CATC or any official thereof.

Collars, Leashes and Harnesses Slip collars that are on the dead ring, buckle collars, Martingales and body harnesses may be used in the ATT. They may not wear prong collars, e-collars, head collars, or harnesses that restrict the movement of the dog. Leashes should be 4 ft. to 6 ft. long and should be made of fabric or leather. Dogs must be on leash at all times. No retractable leashes on the grounds.

REFUNDS There will be no refunds unless this event can't be held due to Covid 19 mandates.

Claims will be arbitrated as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event.

ADDITIONAL SITE INFORMATION Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available.

AKC TEMPERAMENT TEST TITLE If a dog passes the ATT on two occasions, under two different judges, the owner may apply for the AKC Temperament Test (ATT) suffix title by going online to akctemptest and submitting the ATT title application along with the Evaluator Score Sheets (one from each of the two required tests) and the required title application fee. Upon verification, the ATT title will be applied to the dog's record and will appear on the dog's AKC title record. The title certificate will be mailed to the dog's primary owner of record.

AKC TEMPERAMENT TEST BASICS Breed Temperament Information: One purpose of the ATT is to educate dog owners about the temperament of their breeds. At each test, in addition to a title application form and their contact information on the test checklist, handlers must complete the form labeled, "YOUR BREED'S TEMPERAMENT." The form includes a space for the handlers of mixed breed dogs to write about the temperament of their individual dogs. AKC Resources (see below) are the source required for breed specific temperament characteristics for owners. Owners must complete the YOUR BREED form noted. Blank forms may be downloaded from AKC resources (suggested) or may be obtained at the test site on the day of the test.

ADDITIONAL RULES & REGULATIONS Repeating a Test Item: Dogs may not repeat test items in these categories: Social, Auditory, Visual and Unexpected Stimulus. Dogs may attempt test items a total of 3 times for the Tactile and Proprioceptive categories. Scores are adjusted accordingly when test items are repeated. Spectators: Spectators shall remain 10' from rings, no dogs closer than 30'. No food in spectator area. No Smoking Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs--disposal in specified receptacles. Collars: Dogs may wear Slip Collars (on dead ring), Martingales, or Body Harnesses. Dogs may not wear prong collars, ecollars, head collars, or harnesses that restrict the dog's movement. FLEXI-LEADS are NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the property. RIBBONS, AWARDS, AND PRIZES

White ATT qualifying ribbon will be awarded for each leg passed. Title Ribbons will be awarded for new titles. A photo spot with props will be available for personal photos.
