2. What education do they have beyond high school?

3. Work experience/Scientific accomplishments

4. Special Skills/Interesting facts

You’ll be keeping your notes in a Word document.

1. Using the online encyclopedia we have available here at school as a starting point.

a. There is a Kids version (K-5) or a Student version (5-9.)

b. There are usually links at the end of the article that should help with research.

c. The icon looks like this:

2. Facts should be verified from 2 sources

a. Search Engines are not sources. (Google, Ask, Yahoo….)

b. Wikipedia or Wiki Answers are not reliable sources.

3. We’ll be using Microsoft Word to keep notes. (no paper pencil!)

a. I suggested using a table to help keep the information organized and modeled this.

b. Students can copy /paste into the document, but should also copy/paste the URL too.
