NATIONAL EGG REVIEW Prices in New York remain steady. Regional and California prices are unchanged for Small and Jumbo sizes, 18 to 23 cents lower for Extra-large and Large, and unchanged to .5 cents lower for Medium. The undertone is cautiously steady in all regions. Offerings in California are light to very light for Jumbo, moderate for other weights. Offerings in all other regions are moderate. Demand into retail and distributive channels range light to moderate. Supplies are mixed, but mostly moderate to instances heavy for current needs. Market activity is slow to moderate. Breaking stock offerings are light to moderate; breaking schedules are normal to instances extended. Spent type hen offerings are moderate with a light to moderate demand.

Live Spent Light Fowl Prices are trending steady for moderate offerings of spent hens. Demand is light to moderate as finished product sales are sufficient and clearing satisfactorily. Processing schedules for next week are normal to less than normal. Market activity is slow to moderate. The majority price for removal costs are unchanged at 0-7 cents per head.
