OBJECTIVES

1. Review recommended treatment options for cardiovascular disease and it’s complications.

2. Discuss ACC/AHA recommendations for serial echocardiography in patients with aortic stenosis.

3. Discuss the benefits of physical activity on patients with CVD.

4. Familiarize with the current endovascular treatment options in acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease.

5. Identify dietary components that may reduce Cardiovascular Heart Disease risk

factors.

6. Compare and contrast the latest advances in pharmacological and therapeutic

management of cardiovascular conditions.

7. Increase awareness of the cost of poor health literacy on health care outcomes.
