Miami Valley Haunts The Miami Valley has its hauntings, and Nancy Horlacher, Local History Specialist for the Library, invites you to look at some of the sites where such things are said to have happened in the Miami Valley. Bigfoot: Fact or Fiction? Join author Doug Waller and other members from the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigations (SOSBI) for an afternoon discussion and slide show presentation including witness reports and evidence found during investigations. Ghosthunting Ohio Ghosthunter and author John Kachuba takes you on a tour of some of Ohio's most haunted locations. John has personally investigated each of these locations, all of which are open to the public. Hear his chilling stories and see some amazing ghost photos taken at these spooky sites. Halloween Bingo ? Belmont Saturday, 10/25, 1:30-3:00 p.m. Show off your awesome Halloween costume and play a few rounds of Bingo for a chance to win some cool prizes! For ages 5-12.

Haunted Halloween - Brookville Monday, 10/27, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Bring your little ghouls and goblins to the Brookville Library for Halloween games, stories, songs and more! Don't forget to dress in costume! For ages 3-8. Please register in advance.

Spooky Scavenger Hunt - Burkhardt

Wednesday, 10/22 thru Saturday, 10/25. Monsters have invaded the Library! Catch them by completing a scavenger hunt and earn a Halloween-themed prize! For children up to grade 6.

Spooky Storytime - Burkhardt Saturday, 10/25, 11:00-11:45 a.m. Join us for a special Halloween-themed storytime and craft. And don't forget to wear your costume! For ages 6 and younger with a caretaker. Please register in advance.

Halloween Party - East Monday, 10/27, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Celebrate Halloween at the East Branch Library! Join us for a story, crafts and games. Wear a costume if you like (but you don't have to). For ages 4-12. Please register in advance.

Halloween Party ? Huber Heights Thursday, 10/23, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Join us for some (not so) spooky Halloween fun... if you dare!

Spooky Storytime ? Kettering-Moraine Monday, 10/27, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Put on your costume and come to the Library for a spooky good time with stories and treats. For ages 5-12.

Boo Bash Bingo ? Madden Hills Saturday, 10/18, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Enjoy fun tricks, good treats and a spooky game of Halloween Bingo. For ages 5-12.

It's Baaaack... Spooky Burg Bash! ? Miamisburg Tuesday, 10/21, 6:30-8:00 p.m. It's creepy and it's kooky, mysterious and spooky... It's the Burg Halloween party! Wear your costume and share stories, games and our super spooky Halloween puppet show, Dancing Skeleton. Younger children are welcome but the party is geared toward ages 6-12. Please register in advance.

Spooky Burg Bash Junior ? Miamisburg Wednesday, 10/22, 4:00-5:00 p.m. This Halloween party will feature less-scary but still spooky themes for younger party goers. There will be plenty of bats, ghosts and spiders ? so beware! Dress in costume (nothing too scary) and join in the spirited fun! For ages 5 and younger. Please register in advance.

Halloween Carnival ? New Lebanon Thursday, 10/30, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Play games, win prizes and enjoy refreshments at our Halloween Carnival! Wear a costume and enter the costume contest. For children age 7 and younger and their parent or caregiver.

Halloween Party ? Northmont Friday, 10/24, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Celebrate Halloween with stories, treats and crafts. Wear your costume if you like! For grades K-6. Please register in advance.

Family Halloween Party ? Trotwood Thursday, 10/30, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Come to the Library for Halloween-themed games, treats and fun! If you wear a costume you'll get an extra special treat.

Trick or Treat, Library Style! ? Vandalia

Monday, 10/27, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wear your costume and join us for stories, a craft, refreshments, then go Trick or Treating inside the Library for some goodies! Bags will be provided. For ages 3-6.

Monster Mash ? West Carrollton Thursday, 10/23, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Have a monsterously good time! Play monster games, make monster crafts and feel some ooey gooey concoctions. The Civic Center will host games, snacks and a costume parade too!

Ghastly, Grizzly, Spooky, Scary! - Westwood Monday, 10/27, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Hear special spooky stories, make a scary mask and have lots of October treats.

Toddler Trick or Treat ? Wilmington-Stroop Wednesday, 10/29, 10:30-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-1:30 p.m. Little ones in costume can enjoy some spooky stories, puppet shows and a parade around the Library for treats. Children ages 6 and younger.

FOR TEENS & TWEENS:

Halloween Movie Night ? Dayton View Thursday, 10/23, 5:30- 7:30 p.m. Watch a Halloween movie - we'll supply the popcorn! For ages 10-17.

Pre-Halloween Face-Off - East Tuesday, 10/14, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Learn some cool tips on using watercolor pencils and crayons to create your best Halloween look.

Teen Halloween Party ? Huber Heights Wednesday, 10/29, 3:30-5:00 p.m. You're invited to a Halloween Party! Costumes are not required (but we hope you'll wear one).

Teen Halloween Party ? Kettering-Moraine Thursday, 10/30, 3:30-5:00 p.m. Tomorrow is Halloween and the Kettering-Moraine Branch Library has just what you need to scare yourself silly! Celebrate with spook-tacular treats and a Halloween themed movie.

Horror Contest ? Miami Twp. October: How well do you know Halloween horror? Take horror trivia quiz - winner will receive their choice of a $15 Best Buy, Gamestop, Meijer, Target or Walmart gift card.

Halloween Chocolate ? New Lebanon Wednesday, 10/29, 3:00-4:00 p.m. Play with your food! Make chocolate designs for Halloween - yummy scary things to eat. For ages 10-14. Please register by October 25.

Teen Halloween Craft ? Northtown-Shiloh Monday, 10/27, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Black glitter, zombies and glue guns: make something spooky to decorate your room.

Pumpkin Carving - Trotwood

Tuesday, 10/28, 4:00-5:00 p.m. Carve your own pumpkin! Please bring your own tools if you have them (pumpkins will be provided). Please register in advance.
