DONATION PERIOD FOR THE 2019 FALL SALE

Donations for the Fall Sale will be accepted from Monday, June 10 through Thursday, August 17, 2019. Donation hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00am - Noon, and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00am - Noon, except holiday weekends. During inclement weather, Nearly New follows the Baltimore County School schedule. If Baltimore County schools are closed, Nearly New will also be closed.

HOLIDAY CLOSING: July 1 through July 7, 2019. Will reopen Monday, July 8, 2019.

NOTE: Donations are scheduled to end August 22, 2019, but we reserve the right to end the donation period sooner based on space limitations. Please call or check nearlynewsale to confirm actual closing date.

DONOR RECEIPTS: Donations to Nearly New are tax deductible. Donors will only receive a receipt for their donation at the time that the donation is made. The IRS places the responsibility for valuing non-cash donations for tax purposes on the donor.

PATRON PASSES: In order to be eligible for a Patron Pass a household must donate at least $75 in saleable items for each sale. A Patron Pass admits two persons to the first two days of the upcoming sale. Patron Passes will be mailed to eligible donors prior to the sale. NO CREDIT TOWARD PATRON PASSES WILL BE GIVEN FOR OUT OF SEASON CLOTHING OR SOILED/DAMAGED ITEMS.

DONOR PACKING REQUIREMENTS

Clothing items donated for the sale MUST be Fall/Winter only. To facilitate handling, please bring your donations in closed well packed boxes or on hangers (not in bags). Boxes containing breakable items should be clearly marked "Fragile". If possible, do not use boxes larger than 16"x16"x16". Each box should be clearly marked with your name, address, and phone number on the outside and inside of your donation. (Personalized address labels work well and may speed the process)

DONATIONS ACCEPTED AT NEARLY NEW ? Men's, women's and children's clothing ? Shoes, handbags and accessories ? Furs ? Household items including small appliances, linens, drapes, craft and stationery supplies ? Books (hardbound or paperback in good condition) ? Artwork ? Jewelry ? Children's toys (nothing broken please) ? Sports equipment; Garden d?cor and supplies; Pet supplies ? Antiques; Furniture & lamps (only pieces that are in good, working condition and can be lifted

by one person) ? Luggage ? Tablets/Computers/Printers (only computers with Windows 7 or higher OS will be accepted.

NOTE: Due to limited storage and our desire to improve the quality of the goods we sell, Nearly New must be selective. Please donate only items which are first-rate quality, in good condition and freshly laundered.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT NEARLY NEW

? Televisions , VHS tapes

? Out of season clothing

? Large appliances (stoves, refrigerators, etc.)

? Window blinds

? Children's sippy cups, playpens, car seats, broken toys

? Textbooks, encyclopedias, National Geographic magazines

? Recalled or expired items and products

? Prescription medical equipment (crutches, walkers, medical hardware or home-care products)

? Miscellaneous items including:

o Tires

o Fast-food drink cups

o Console electronic equipment

o Food and beverages

o Hazardous materials

o Cell phones

o Cosmetics

o Homemade media recordings

o Over-the-counter medications

o Large manual typewriters

Nearly New volunteers have the right to refuse any inappropriate items
