LABOR CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS

PROGRAM COORDINATOR I

Responsible for the day-to-day work required to deliver a successful training/educational event for up to 50 attendees. Provides knowledgeable and expert technical support for all research activities, as well as logistical and deliverable aspects of a training/educational program. Manages additional tasks related to training: speaker/instructor engagement (e.g. forms, travel, communication, etc.), identification of needs for support staff, online registration development and maintenance, creation of training manual/agenda, online certificates and evaluations for all training classes, provides attendance and report generation.

Educational/experience requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and/or 2-4 years experience in a related activity

PROGRAM COORDINATOR II (INCLUDES CFO, AND IT SPECIALIST)

Responsible for the day to day work required to deliver a successful training/educational event for 50-150 attendees, and /or one or more days of training. Coordinates all pre-training activities which include: needs assessment, identification of subject matter experts (SME’s), research, logistics, identification of needs for support staff; web site development and maintenance, creation of training manual/agenda, online certificates, and evaluations for all training classes as well as a general certificate of attendance and report generation. Independently identifies need for and works collaboratively with Accreditation Manager on designated aspects of professional accreditation.

Educational/experience requirements: High School diploma and some college coursework; proof of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) coursework and/or 3+ years experience in a related activity.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR III (INCLUDES PROGRAM MANAGER, CORPORATE PRINCIPAL, CONTRACT SPECIALIST)

Responsible for all work required to deliver a successful training/educational event for > 100 attendees, and /or one or more days of training, or ongoing training program development. Ensures quality and satisfaction on all training/educational deliverables by coordinating technical activities with the Federal Contract Officer (CO) and COTR; coordinates the kick off meeting (when requested); develops/implements recommendations for the strategic direction of the training/educational program with the COTR or Contract Program Coordinator; meets with other project staff as requested; develops, reviews, and assures compliance with work plan, timeline, budget, and financial reports; Coordinates and oversees activities which require rapid response

for project needs which occur outside the work plan, and reviews all final contract deliverables collaboratively with the federal COTR; fiscally accountable for the project.

Other staff assigned to this labor category includes the Corporate Principal.

The Corporate Principal and the Contract Specialist are responsible for committing the resources of the organization and will serve as the senior resource to the team and technical contact for the federal Contract Officer; ensures appropriate utilization of resources which includes staff assignments and signing of all contracts.

Educational/experience requirements: BS or BA in business or related field, professional licensure, and/ or CMP certification and/or 4+ years experience in a related activity.

PRODUCER

Responsible for oversight of production of training videos to be embedded into existing informational website(s). Ability to conceptualize and plan actions required to implement client specific video production, oversees production activities and makes recommendations to

improve final product prior to release to client; provides direct oversight of personnel assigned to production related tasks.

Educational/experience requirements: B.A. in film and media production and/or 15 years experience in documentary production and associated tasks.

VIDEO EDITOR

Responsible for review of training related transcripts and shot material; edits materials for finished video products that are to be inserted into existing web site. Coordinates music, graphics, and stock footage for inclusion on web site. Demonstrates ability to write narration drafts if which needed may include closed captioning of material. May be part of the creative team of the video

Educational/experience requirements: BA in animation, media arts, or computer science and/or

10 years experience working with the computer systems and programs used in digital video editing.

STILL PHOTOGRAPHER

Responsible for primary photography used for creating profiles and poster campaigns for education related to all aspect of PTSD. Knowledgeable of multiple types of cameras used to create mixed media profiles and digital still photographs. Knowledge and ability to provide necessary technical consultation including color treatment of photographs for websites and posters

Educational/experience requirements: BA or MA in photography or journalism and/or 8 years experience with photographic exhibitions and galleries. Preferred: National level photo award

NARRATOR

Provide narration of commercial and independent films/media such as on-line workplace training courses; audio textbooks excerpts; recording for dial-in newspaper service; recording/narration

of text books and employee orientation videos.

Educational/ experience requirements: BA in relevant field of study and/or 2 or more year’s relevant experience in related activity.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Oversees multi-faceted visual communications work team. Works collaboratively with client and on site team who are providing a broad range of visual communications/graphic services for the client to support goal accomplishment for the overall project . Evaluates technical activities and performance and ensures goals and priorities are met as well as timelines established for the overall project.

Educational/ experience requirements: BA/BS in the Audio/Visual field and/or seven years general experience or four years experience combined with two year of technical training in the audio visual field.

COPYWRITER

Creates the text and visual content for training advertisements, promotional brochures, for existing educational web sites and other public relations activities which include but are not limited to: flyers, taglines, Internet content, white papers and press releases. Information created is factually correct and is reviewed and corrected until concept if fully workable Educational/experience requirements: BA/BS in marketing, literature, communications, mass media, advertising or journalism and/or at least 5 years experience with previous working on national level advertising campaigns

Training Development Coordinator I

Responsible for providing support in researching and developing educational and training materials for quality improvement initiatives. Present quality workshops, seminars, and training sessions. Develop, publish, and maintain course development standards and adult learning strategies for use when developing training. Communicate with client as needed throughout the education/training project, including travel to client site as necessary. Ensure timely and appropriate completion of online courses by participants. Research/review materials. Writes drafts keeping in mind curriculum planning and development, collaborating on content with the subject matter expert and/or client. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HTML. Design and develop technology-based training, as needed.

Educational/experience requirements: BS or BA in business or related field, professional

licensure, and/ or CMP certification and/or 4+ years experience in a related activity.

Training Development Coordinator II

Write and design training materials that may be in the form of self-instructed modules, online-learning, performance support materials, or instructor-led-training in keeping with the principles of adult learning, and adhering to instructional design standards. Ensures the tone and language are appropriate for the target audience. Present quality workshops, seminars, and training sessions. Continuously interacts with project manager to ensure input, feedback and quality end product. Manage a team supporting an agency’s process improvement and quality training efforts. Manage course development process and integrate instructional design standards, adult learning strategies and graphics in collaboration with project team personnel. Travel to client site as necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HTML.

Educational/experience requirements: MS or MA in business or related field, professional

licensure, and/ or CMP certification and/or 4+ years experience in a related activity.

EXPERIENCE and DEGREE SUBSTITUTION
