                        Planned, designed and taught units on poetry, literature analysis, and essay writing.  Created test, quizzes, reading guides and research projects for four different classes.  Taught English 9 Honors, English 9, English 10 Honors, and English 12. 

                       

                        Internship I - Holland Middle School, Trenton, NJ.  Fall 2003-

                        Observed and taught sixth and seventh grade language arts.  Taught an ethnically diverse student body.  Planned and implemented lessons on speech writing and public speaking.  Assisted students in developing progress with their reading and writing skills.

                       

                        Substitute teacher - Hopewell Valley Regional School District, Pennington, NJ. (September 2002- December 2003)- Substituted all subject areas from 6th to 12th grade.

 

                        Paraprofessional - Timberlane Junior High School, Pennington, NJ. (Nov. 2001- June 2002) - Worked as an assistant physical education teacher, regularly handling 12-15 students independently.
