Meet at Your Residence Hall
After you arrive at your residence hall to quickly unload your belongings, please move your vehicle to the Lakeside parking lot located at 175 Lakeside Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401. Our shuttle service will bring you back to campus so you can begin settling into your room. Take some time to meet your Residential Life staff and get acquainted with your new neighbors.

Emergency Contact Form
(You would have been notified at check-in this morning if you have not yet completed this form.) Complete your Emergency Contact Form and Evacuation Plan online at champlain.edu/current-students; under "Links that Require Login," select "Web Advisor" and log in, then select "Students." Under "Communications," select "Emergency Contact." Having trouble doing this on your own? Stop by the Compass Student Services table in the Center for Communication & Creative Media, Champlain Room today and they will gladly assist you.
Cash Card
Cash Card is the debit card function of your Student ID Card. Cash Card is accepted on campus at EATS, the Campus Store, the mailroom, and in the laundry machines. Cash Card may be used with
a number of merchants and vendors in the greater Burlington area that display our CC Cash Card logo. You can deposit funds to your Cash Card account in person or online through a secure online portal at champlain.edu/id-card. The minimum is $20 for online deposits, and there is a waiting period of one business day before you can use the funds deposited online. Deposits made in person will be available for use immediately. The minimum is $5 for in-person deposits. You can make a deposit using cash, check, credit, or debit in person at Compass Student Services, located in Perry Hall. Orientation weekend hours are: Thursday, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM?2:00 PM; Sunday, 8:00 AM?8:00 PM.
EVERFI
Champlain College wants to work together with you to create a safe and respectful campus community. As part of that commitment, we expect all incoming students to complete part one of the AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Students courses by Friday, August 30th. If you haven't completed the courses yet: Go to login and click Register; under "Student/Learner" enter the Registration Code: champlainfirstyear, and click "Next" to create your EVERFI account. Photo ID Card

Your Student ID Card, also known as your Cash Card, will be very important to your life at Champlain. It's not just a form of identification. It's also how you access the dining hall, do your laundry, get free access to the bus system, enter your Residence Hall and room, and it can even act as a debit card at some local vendors! If you did not send in a photo over the summer for your ID Card, please stop by Compass Student Services to have your photo taken and get your ID Card printed. Compass Student Services is located in Perry Hall. Orientation weekend hours are: Thursday, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM?2:00 PM; Sunday, 8:00 AM?8:00 PM.
Registrar's Office

The Registrar's Office is the place to visit if you have any questions about all things related to registration, including your schedule and how to use Student Planning. All students are assigned an Academic Specialist who can provide guidance and answer a variety of college-related questions. But that's not all! The Registrar's Office also produces the Final Exam Schedule, receives and evaluates transfer credit, maintains all student records, issues diplomas, and so much more!

You will meet your Resident Advisors and Area Coordinator this morning at your residence hall to welcome you into your new home. Your residence hall community will come together this afternoon for a hall meeting to provide you with information and resources that will prepare you for the year ahead. You will also hear from Housing & Residential Life in the Campus Living 101 session later on this weekend. Be sure to meet the rest of the Housing & Residential Life staff, located in Skiff Hall, during the school year.

As the facilitators of Orientation, our Student Engagement staff will be out and about over the course of the next four days. Student Government Association (SGA) provides representation of the student body to the College faculty, staff, and administration. We also run and fund clubs on campus along with having a grant process. We are always happy to have students come into our office, and we're here to help with any problem or concern. If you are not into doing your own laundry, another option is E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners, which provides a pickup/drop-off service (this is a paid service, not included as part of your housing cost).

Sugarbush Season Pass
Center for Communication & Creative Media, Champlain Room, 3rd Floor
Speak with representatives about your season pass options. Starting in September, season passes will be available for $50 for Mount Ellen, $150 for all the Sugarbush trails, and $200 for all Sugarbush Trails and Mad River Glen. Not sure how you are going to get to the mountain? Buses will take you there during peak season, and other trips will be arranged over the course of the spring semester. You'll be ready to take advantage of the amazing ski and ride terrain as soon as the snow begins to fly! See the Activities Calendar for more details.

During this session, you will be introduced to the division and how we work to support your success, as well as meet a couple of key partners that will also help you along the way. THERE IS MORE TO OUR STORIES Join Stacey Miller for a fun and engaging conversation about what it means to be a new member of the Champlain College community, and how there is more to all of our stories. This honest and engaging program will inspire you to create a more inclusive community for all students.
MAXIMIZE YOUR BUZZ, ALCOHOL EDU This fun, interactive presentation will teach you about personal values. "Don't Drink" is not part of our strategy. Rather, we encourage students to understand who they are and what's most important to them. Reduce the negative impact of binge drinking and Maximize Your Buzz!
SAFETY FIRST All students are required to attend this important program and learn the do's and don'ts of fire safety and campus theft prevention. We will also explore campus alcohol, illegal substance and noise violation policies; answer your campus safety questions; and provide valuable personal safety tips.
