We are very lucky to live here. Plus, you just found a use for all those toilet paper rolls for that toilet paper you bought! Link to directions: WEDNESDAY – Cardboard Box City With many packages arriving in cardboard boxes at your door, put them to good use and upcycle them! This does not have to be fancy, even a marker on a box is good enough! Now your child has a play town for all their dolls and action figures. Make them go shopping to the store with some homemade “paper money.” (It may be rare soon, but the concept is important.) Question: Are cities good for our planet? How do cities affect food chains and environments for animals? Discuss!THURSDAY – Knitting with Toilet Paper RollsAnother toilet paper craft! Make a realllly long snake and we will make a hat next week! (Need at least 5 feet of this project for it.) Goal for the kids and will keep them busy. You can use straws or straws made of tightly wrapped magazine pages if you don’t have popsicle sticks. FRIDAY – Woven Friendship Bracelet We are all missing our friends. Make a few bracelets with recycled materials. You can share them when we get to see each other again! (Leave them out in the sun for a few hours before you share.
