HAPPY NEWYEAR!

Independent Reading (IR): Choose a book to read. Use this IR book during free time in school and for homework. If you do not know more than four words on each page, that book is too difficult for you. Choose a book that is “Just Right.” You will know most of the words in this kind of book except for one or two words in a reading period. If you know all of the words and there are no challenges, the book may be too easy for you. Consider abandoning the book. Your IR book cannot be too hard or too easy. It must be “Just Right” for your reading.

ACHIEVE 3000: Read! Read! And Read Some More! Read for THIRTY MINUTES each day. Complete your Thinkmark according to the schedule. Complete activities on Achieve 3000 as often as you can!
