(Lake Jackson, TX) -- With more than 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, Alan Bagwell has joined TDECU ? Your Credit Union as Director of Commercial Business Development. In this role, Bagwell will help the $3.2 billion, Member-owned organization strengthen its' business & commercial banking portfolio by creating and leveraging opportunities to expand various commercial services; including commercial construction loans, SBA 7A & 504 loans, owner-occupied and investment loans, as well as non-profit real estate loans. His responsibilities will also include the growth and development of the credit union's business & commercial lending teams across TDECU service market areas. "Commercial Banking is a rapidly growing part of our business," said TDECU Business & Commercial Services Vice President, Todd Lucas. "Alan brings the impeccable skill set, background and vision required to further enhance this focal point for the credit union, and we look forward to his leadership in positioning TDECU as a leader in the commercial banking space." Bagwell currently serves as a Director for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining TDECU, he served in leadership roles in branch sales and management, retail and commercial banking, small business market management, and business development for other financial institutions. As a veteran of the United States Army, Bagwell proudly served in Operation Desert Storm and was Honorably Discharged.
