Scott graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in political science. After studying law in Austria and Argentina, he received his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio. Scott is presently serving as Director of Legal Services with the Texas Municipal League and General Counsel to the Texas City Attorneys Association. In addition, he has served as an adjunct professor of political science at Texas State University, and recently received the American Bar Association's "Up and Coming Young Lawyer Award." He provides legal services in all areas of municipal law.
