and ends with a period.

Examples of abbreviations:

Mr. Marshall

Dr. Lopez

Ms. Jones

Mrs. Primrose

Mr. ? Mrs.- Ms.- Dr. are titles that are abbreviations, notice the capital letter of

each title and the period ending it.

Days of the week and months can be abbreviated too.

Examples: Monday (Mon.) ? Friday (Fri). ? Wednesday (Wed.)

March (Mar.) ? April (Apr.) ? August (Aug.) ? October (Oct.)
