Dictionary Project
For this project, you will be creating an illustrated dictionary of the essential astronomy terms listed below. You will need to give a written definition of the word, in a complete sentence and in your own words. Additionally you will need to create an illustration which is representative of the meaning of the word.
Your project must have the following criteria: 1. Each vocabulary word will be bolded and underlined. 2. You must have at least ONE word for EACH letter of the Alphabet to MEET MASTERY. 2. Created out of computer paper or colored paper (NOT notebook paper). 3. All written components of this project MUST be TYPED! 4. The pages are put together as a book ? stapled or connected in some other creative manner. 5. The project contains a definition and an illustration for each of the words. 6. Each definition is in a complete sentence and in your own words (DO NOT copy and paste). 7. The project is neat and shows that some time and effort were put into the project.
Cover Page: The cover should have the following:
Title of your dictionary. Be creative. Your name. Your advisory teachers name. Visually Pleasing - It should be colorful (at least two different colors), include
appropriate graphic(s) and it should look neat. Remember: your goal is to make your dictionary look like the one that a person would pick out to learn the information. ENTRY EXAMPLE:
