FY 20 ACQUISITION FORECAST OF CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES

The FY 20 Acquisition Forecast is a projection of anticipated contracting opportunities (funded / unfunded)

from the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command with support provided by the U.S.

Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity and the Office of Small Business Programs. The forecast is

not all inclusive and will be updated throughout the fiscal year. Questions about each entry should be

DISCLAIMER: Title V, of Public Law 100-656 requires that Federal agencies make available its

procurements forecast. The forecast is not intended to be all-inclusive. The forecast is one of many tools

available to businesses, in particular, small businesses seeking to conduct business with the federal

government. All projected procurements are subject to revision or cancellation. Final decisions on the

extent of competition, small business participation, estimate value, or any value, or any aspect of the

procurement action will not be made until each procurement is initiated. The forecast data is for planning

purposes, does not represent a pre-solicitation synopsis, does not constitute an invitation for bid or request

for proposal, and is not a commitment by the government to purchase the desired products or services.

Actual solicitation notices will be posted on (i.e. Federal Business Opportunities) as prescribed

by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. **

SPECIAL NOTE:

FedBizOpps Will Be Retired After Veterans Day Weekend

As of Nov. 12, Federal Business Opportunities, the website for publishing all public government procurements, will be officially

decommissioned. After Veterans Day, the authoritative source for federal solicitations will be under a page on beta..

According to the current timeline from the General Services Administration, the current site will enter a "data freeze"

beginning on Nov. 8. During that freeze, no new procurement data will be uploaded to the site as it is fully decommissioned over the

holiday weekend. Beginning on Nov. 12, all federal procurements will be posted on beta. under the "Contract

Opportunities" tab. Users will have to use an existing account through --or create a new one--in order to get full use of

the new opportunities site. Federal employees using their FedBizOpps accounts to migrate over to should have their

information and roles transferred, as well, though the nomenclature for those roles might change.
