The mission of the Center is to provide training and consulting services that will enable DBEs | DBs |SBEs to acquire the proficiency, expertise and

experience necessary to compete, on an equal basis, for federally-assisted PennDOT highway

contracts and subcontracts

? PennDOT is directly responsible for approximately 40,000 roadway miles and 25,000 bridges that all need regular maintenance and repair. Also many transportation and construction related contracts througout the commonwealth
