Readers read from a "script" and reading parts are divided among the readers. No memorization, costumes, blocking, or special lighting is needed. Scripts are held by the readers. Lines are not memorized. The focus is on reading the text with expressive voices and gestures. Making comprehending the text meaningful and fun for the student! We will be reading a variety of scripts in whole groups as well as small groups and present them to our classmates. Once you start Reader's Theater you will love it!!! 82 Dance Dance allows every dancer to have the opportunity to explore various genres of dance. West African, jazz, and contemporary are just a few. They will perform with the West African drumming class at the end of camp for a special joint performance.91 MineCraft Students will use the popular game Minecraft to learn all kinds of things about Science, Technology, Math, History, Language Arts, and Art. 92 I-Movie Students will learn to create, edit, and upload their own video and animation projects.
