Variable. Grants of over ?500 consider applicant's financial circumstances. Smaller awards not formally means tested but recipients must certify that proposed activity cannot be funded from alternative sources.

Expenses incurred in the pursuit of artistic activities (excluding musical activities, but including plays, arts shows, speaker events, workshops, writing and publications, filmmaking etc). Aimed at UG students in particular need of financial assistance.

The fund has a budget of ?5,000 per annum, overseen by one senior member.

Each bursary is worth ?500-?600.

Senior Hulme Scholarships

Purpose Vacation or Easter Vacation.

To spend three weeks in September of that year studying at Stanford University.

For travel with an intellectually constructive purpose & also enjoyable and refreshing. Should not involve charity work or be for the purpose of pursuing one's academic course. Up to 12 scholarships per year to DPhil students whose academic performance is deemed to be exceptional.

Value successful applicants each year.

Tuition and accommodation on or near Stanford campus for the 3week course
