Areas of Practice:

PCPs generally focus on different medical areas of practice for different life stages: ? Family Medicine focuses on health care for the entire

family, with an emphasis on care for all ages. ? Family Medicine with Obstetrics focuses on health

care for the entire family, with an emphasis on delivering babies. ? Internal Medicine focuses on adult medicine and complex health care. Older adults may prefer Internal Medicine because of its focus on the interrelated systems of the body and how they are affected by illness. ? Obstetrics and Gynecology focuses on obstetrics (covering pregnancy and childbirth) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive systems) including preventive care. ?
