1. What material/coursework will be covered on eLearning day? Teachers will focus on continuing the instructional process during eLearning days. This may occur in the form of new material and/or standard mastery or review.

2. When will material/coursework be due? Material/coursework covered during an eLearning day along with corresponding assignments/tasks will be due as outlined by the teacher with due dates no earlier than the third school day after the eLearning day (i.e. eLearning day on Monday; soonest assignments/tasks would be due Thursday).

3. Will material/coursework completed during an eLearning day be scored/graded? Yes, material/coursework along with corresponding assignments/tasks may be scored/graded to be included in a student's overall grade for the course.

4. How will students be informed of material/coursework during an eLearningDay? For a planned eLearning Day: Teachers will send home an agenda sheet in the student's eLearning folder. The folder will also contain an Online Resource page and contact information. Within the folder, the teacher may send home worksheets or additional materials. For unplanned eLearning Day cancelled by 6:30 a.m.: Teachers will post information for the eLearning day on the front page of Northwest's website (under Quick Links) by 9:00 a.m.. Each grade level will have an agenda sheet that will be posted as a pdf and will contain the entire day's agenda. For unplanned eLearning Day cancelled after a two-hour delay: Teachers will post information for the eLearning day on the front page of Northwest's website (under Quick Links) by 11:00 a.m. Each grade level will have an agenda sheet that will be posted as a pdf and will contain the entire day's agenda.

5. How will students obtain assistance from teachers on eLearning days? Teachers and students will be able to interact via email. The teacher's email address is provided on the Online Resource Page next to the student's Network Username and Password. If unable to reach via email, a phone call can be made to the school office (or an email to Mr. Dicke) and the office personnel will contact the teacher so the teacher knows to make a phone call to a specific student.

6. How will students obtain assistance with logging in to a specific website? 7. What is a student without internet access to do? Teachers are aware that not all students have Internet access at home and will provide accommodations when necessary for students without home internet access. Students will have 3 school days to complete assignments. Other options: Adams Public Library Services offers free internet/computer usage Several businesses offer free wifi services (listed on front) Northwest Elementary will have Open Computer lab time from 11:00 a.m.--2:00 p.m. on eLearning Days; unless travel is too treacherous for supervising staff. Transportation will NOT be provided. Northwest Elementary will have offer Open Computer lab time from 2:45--3:30 for 3 days following an eLearning day for students to work; Transportation will NOT be provided.

8. How much time is the student expected to work online during the eLearning Day? No minimum or maximum amount of time is expected for students during an eLearning day. Student tasks for the day are determined by grade level, lesson plans, types of courses, and the amount of time needed to complete the learning experience. Teachers strive to continue the instructional processes, albeit virtually, for students as experienced in a traditional school day.
