Nature Medicine () seeks a Locum News & Views/Reviews Editor to join its editorial team for a period of approximately six months.

This exciting position, based in our New York office, involves working closely with the Chief Editor and other members of the journal team on identifying manuscripts worthy of coverage in the News & Views section, commissioning and developmentally editing News & Views and Reviews, and writing research highlights. The successful applicant will attend and organize scientific meetings and visit laboratories to maintain contact with the international scientific community.

Candidates should have a broad interest in biomedical science, excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to work closely with others, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines. Applicants will be required to have completed a Ph.D. and to have expertise in any of the areas covered in Nature Medicine. Previous editorial experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
