The Bay Shore Marina is located at the end of Clinton Avenue in Bay Shore. This regional park boasts 493 boat slips, two launching ramps, Pearl Harbor Memorial, playground and Benjamin's Beach. Shipwreck Cove, the marina's very popular spray park, features a wading pool, water slides and a pirate ship play structure in the perfect setting for a fun summer experience the whole family can enjoy. The marina is popular with Town of Islip residents for the many recreation opportunities offered. In addition to the recreation features, the Marina is also the home to Nicky's on the Bay, an outside concession which provides casual dining and beautiful marina views. Used all season long, the launching ramps allow local residents who do not have slips to launch their boats on a daily basis. The focus of a revitalization project, this marina is complete with a new boardwalk and benches perfect for fishing or simply relaxing by the water. This marina is truly the heart of the south shore.
