INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINGERPRINTING

HUMAN RESOURCES UNIT

NEW TEACHERS, RESIGNED/RETIRED TEACHERS & ADMINISTRATORS AND SUPPORT STAFF In accordance with Nevada Law and Clark County School District (CCSD) regulation, as a pre-condition of employment, all new and returning applicants must be fingerprinted by CCSD Police Services. Please be advised that you cannot and will not be offered employment with the Clark County School District until your background check is completed and approved. Former employees are also required to re-fingerprint.

A $60.00 (non-refundable) fee is required to fingerprint, payable online at, departments/policeservices/background. Click on Fingerprinting Services, click on Background, click on Pay Online and follow instructions to pay. Print your online payment confirmation and bring it to the Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121, Room 108, prior to fingerprinting.

SUBSTITUTE/GUEST TEACHER , SUPPORT STAFF SUBSTITUTE AND COACHES APPLICANTS: If you are applying for a substitute/guest teacher license for the first time, you will need one (1) FD-258 fingerprint card, from CCSD Police Services. The FD-258 fingerprint card will be given to you when you pay the $60.00 (nonrefundable) fee, payable online at, departments/police-services/background. Print your online payment confirmation and bring it to the Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121, Room 108, prior to fingerprinting. The FD-258 fingerprint card will need to accompany your Educator Licensure Application with the Nevada Department of Education. Please do not write on the fingerprint card.

RECERTIFICATION/RENEWING NEVADAEDUCATOR LICENSE: **If you are recertifying/renewing your Nevada Educator License, the fee is $15.00 (non-fundable), payable online at, departments/police-services/background. Click on Fingerprint Services, Click on Re-certification and submit your online payment confirmation to the Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121, Room 505. The FD-258 fingerprint card will need to accompany your Educator Licensure Application with the Nevada Department of Education.
